Jordan & Associates LLC is a nurse-led consulting firm that provides life care planning, medical cost projections, and life care plan reviews for attorneys handling complex personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Founded by Carey Jordan, BSN, RN, CNLCP®, our practice is grounded in clinical experience, legal understanding, and a strong commitment to objective, defensible work.
With over 13 years of experience as a registered nurse and certification as a Nurse Life Care Planner since 2021, Carey brings both technical depth and practical insight to her role. Her professional background spans acute care, case management, and long-term medical planning, giving her a well-rounded perspective on the real-world needs of injured individuals—and the legal teams who advocate for them.
Carey’s decision to pursue life care planning was shaped by her own experience caring for a family member who suffered a catastrophic injury. This personal connection drives her to approach each case with professionalism, precision, and compassion. She works with both plaintiff and defense attorneys, providing reports that are clear, medically sound, and tailored to the specific needs of the case.
As an active member of the American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners (AANLCP) since 2021, Carey stays current with best practices and emerging standards in the field. She understands the role of a medical expert in the litigation process and values clarity, consistency, and neutrality in all written and verbal communication.

Carey Jordan, BSN, RN, CNLCP® is the founder and principal of Jordan & Associates LLC. She is a Certified Nurse Life Care Planner with over 13 years of experience as a registered nurse and a background that spans acute care, case management, and medical consulting.
Carey’s professional journey into life care planning was deeply personal. After caring for a close family member with a catastrophic injury, she developed a passion for helping others navigate complex medical needs—especially when those needs intersect with the legal system. That experience taught her the importance of empathy, thoroughness, and clear communication—values she brings to every case.
Known for her objective, evidence-based approach, Carey works with both plaintiff and defense attorneys nationwide. She is committed to producing accurate, defensible reports that clarify future medical needs and costs for individuals with serious injuries.
Carey is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners (AANLCP) and continues to build her expertise through ongoing education and professional collaboration.
When not reviewing records or preparing reports, Carey enjoys spending time with her family in Topeka, Kansas.
